Payload does not show ads or sell your data. We store your device avatar and online status in order to connect with others. Logs are kept for 30 days (to prevent abuse and to find bugs). We keep records of online traffic amounts, so we can charge for data usage. Your transfers are always end-to-end encrypted. Learn more
We reserve the right to disable access to the service in case of abuse. Basically, don't create accounts or devices in an automated way or to circumvent the free tier, and don't spam or disrupt for other users. Note that transferring massive files (even on the free tier) does not constitute abuse.
If you want to run stress tests, reverse engineer or do security research, always do so ethically and responsibly. Don't experiment with users without their consent. If you're causing excessive load on our servers, let us know beforehand. And please report your findings, if any.
You may distribute copies of Payload privately. It is not permitted to modify and/or re-distribute Payload publicly.
